One of the herbs that can help cure chronic pain is the the Boswellia Serrata. The herb, which is also known as Indian Frankincense has salaai guggal present in its sticky bark. It is being used to reduce pain and inflammation for centuries. The Boswellia seratta is said to stop the possible entry of inflammatory cells to the location of inflammation, block the pre-inflammatory chemicals and improve the blood flow to the sites of inflammation. The Boswellia serrata has long been proven to give relief to certain pain conditions such as arthritis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. One can use Boswellia either orally or topically.
